Do not solve weak demand by paying every role as a percentage of revenue.   • Demand and capacity: leads, consult conversion, provider days, room time, completed visits, service mix, and price.
  • Unit economics: product, consumables, provider compensation, payment fees, discounts, contribution per visit, and contribution per provider hour.
  • Fixed cost and funding: occupancy, core payroll, supervision, marketing base, software, insurance, device commitments, debt, and owner equity.
  • Cash conversion: inventory timing, package liabilities, working capital, debt service, taxes, replacement capital, owner compensation, and distributions.
  • Decision outputs: monthly break-even, cash runway, lender coverage, owner earnings, device payback, location payback, and downside survival.

Build the plan before committing the capital, then update it with actual weekly operating data. The best answer to “is it worth it?” is not the industry average. It is a model that survives a slower ramp, protects patient care, pays every obligation, and still produces an acceptable return on the owner's time and money.
