On the numbers, this is a good business for an operator who can sell before building, standardize production, control gross-to-net leakage, and finance the cash cycle. It is a poor business for a founder who treats the plant as the product. The product is a repeatable, compliant, saleable bottle with enough contribution and enough shelf life to become cash.
